Gotta get away from personal poetry
I have 14 poems left to submit to markets, and once that’s done this week, my plan is to stop writing personal poetry for awhile. I want to write about other people, about the world outside my door, about human nature, but not about me, not for a good while anyway.
My goals for the year 2007 are to get Maddy published and to write the best poetry I have ever written and get it published in a few major literary journals.
Sounds easy enough, huh?
Right.
