PPP Acquires Performancing.Com
Wow, I did not see this coming. I just found out that PayPerPost, who I love and get paid to blog through, has acquired Performancing.Com, Performancing Metrics and Performancing Exchange. I am really glad to hear this news, because I know how PPP operates and they will be able to make what has seemed to be trying to be a major internet marketer into a great success. I have thoroughly checked out Performancing.Com–I often go there to see what blogging jobs they have listed, but I have to be honest, from what I understood–and their concept is NOT easy to understand in my opinion–is that even though you put their affiliate link on your site, you are really responsible for getting advertisers yourself. I have read this on more than one internet marketing forum where Performancing.Com was discussed, so I did not just misunderstand that part. I do not think I did anyway.
As a professional salesperson, if that is the way it is played, it does not make good business sense to me. Why, if you are going to have to give someone else a cut, would you bother if they are not responsible for finding advertisers for you? Maybe I just do not get their vision, but if I am going to have to hustle up advertisers, why not cut out the middle man and just put the advertiser’s link on my blog?
Maybe someone will come along and tell me that I misunderstand, but no matter, whatever PPP touches seems to turn to gold and this can be nothing but a good move. ![]()
