Contest for Gaming Writers and Videographers

If you are a creative writer who is also technically proficient, (geeky in street speak) or a videographer, make sure to check out this contest that is being held by Firing Squad, the home of the hardcore gamer. This site is totally awesome for gamers, so make sure and check it out whether you enter the contest or not. But you’d be crazy not to if you have these skills.

The FiringSquad Editor’s Challenge is designed to find new gaming and technology journalist from among the pool of writers and gamers among us. There is $20k in cash, prizes, and contracts at stake. The top writer wins a $10,000 contract with FiringSquad plus $1500 cash and an Intel Core 2 Extreme processor. The top video producer wins $1000 cash and a $5000 video production contract plus the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor. There will a runner up in each category and they will receive $500 cash and an Intel Core 2 Extreme processor.
That is a lot of moola, guys and gals. But if you are going to enter the writing contest, hurry up and get over to Firing Squad today. The writing preliminaries end Wednesday, February 28th. The videographer contest preliminaries don’t end until March 18th.
