CONTRACT RESEARCHER REQUIRED

Temporary, Part-time (50%)

The MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics seeks an individual to
interview business leaders, summarize interviews, perform media and
literature searches, and create and write case studies.

The position requires excellent communications, writing, and interviewing
skills and command of English; a minimum of five years’ experience
interacting with those in the business world; and experience conducting
interviews and developing case studies. Preference will be given to those
with a master’s degree in journalism or related subject. Must be able to
translate difficult concepts for a general audience and interact
professionally with business leaders at senior levels. Seek imaginative,
independent self-starter who can get up-to-speed quickly and be productive
with little supervision. Experience working in a research environment a
plus. Experience using MS Word and PowerPoint required. Some travel will be
required.

Rate of pay will be commensurate with experience.

teacher for an illustrated series of educational children’s books in
MATHEMATICS GRADE 6. Applicant must have middle school or early high school

Writer/subject matter experts sought to produce college-level psychology
textbook on work-for-hire basis. We are seeking knowledgeable writers to
create text content for an undergraduate (open enrollment) course on a
flat-fee, contracted basis. First drafts of all chapters are due by July
26.
Writers will be supplied with a detailed specifications document outlining
the exact content to be covered. Writers are responsible for researching
and writing text that covers basic domain content, rigorously footnoting
