Advice on Novel Writing

I was going through my sidebar this morning, reminding myself of what was there and I was checking out the helpful sites for writers section. I had this article by Crawford Killian there and I thought it was well worth posting again for those of you who are just starting out writing a novel. Well, heck, it is great advice for writers who have already written a novel, for that matter.

You could read just this information and know as much as you would if you took a creative writing class, I kid you not. It is all there, characterization, tense, plot, all the things you need to know to write the best novel you can. I do not for one minute believe that someone who doesn’t at least do SOME sort of studying can sit down and write a novel. There really is a lot to know.

Check out was Killian has to say and add this to your files for future reference. Also, if you know a new novel writer, won’t you pass this post on to them? Or at least the link? Thanks!

Edit** Thanks to Jerry who left me a comment and let me know that Crawford Killian has a blog! Here is the link and there is even more good advice there.
