Sandcastle E-Cards
There is a site called Virtual Sand Castle that lets you build a sandcastle of your own creation and turn it into an e-card to send to your family and/or friends for free! What you see below is a screen shot of the castle I built. I sent the e-card to my daughter in law. They live in Florida so I am sure she will get a kick out of the irony that I live in Dallas, Texas, nowhere near the beach, yet I was able to Build A Sandcastle just like they can. Well, less the sand in my toes! The card was really fun to create and one thing I really liked about it was that it came with sound effects. I would have posted the actual e-card and not just a screen shot but I didn’t get an embedding code so a screen shot will have to suffice. But I am sure you get the idea.
This is a cool way to get your summer started off with a bang. Build a sandcastle and send it to your buddies and tell them it’s time for some summer fun! Also, this is a great site to tell your kids about. They could spend hours building their own sandcastles online and emailing them to their friends.
