Wirefly’s Top Ten Cell Phones
In a press release dated January 12, 2007, Wirefly, the premier online site for cell phones, has released its top ten list of the most popular cell phones. The list is based on customer orders. Wirefly’s top 10 cell phones are as follows:
1. Cingular Wireless RAZR by Motorola
2. T-Mobile RAZR
3. Verizon Wireless RAZR
4. Cingular Sony Ericsson z520a/z525a video phones
5. T-Mobile Motorola v360
6. Verizon Wireless Motorola v276
7. Sprint Nextel Motorola i850
8. Sprint Nextel Motorola i710
9. Cingular Motorola v220
10. T-Mobile Samsung T309
My personal opinion is that of course people want to buy name brand products, and all of the top ten, as you can see, are major players in the cell phone business. And this day and time it would be insane to buy an off brand cell phone when the cost of the name brand cell phones is usually as cheap or cheaper, especially considering the special offers, the rebates. But never forget customer support. Of all the reason to buy name brand, to me that is the most important.
