The Importance of Link Building
I will tell you a story that proves how good back links and good content are the true paths to traffic and page rank. I had a blog at Wordpress.Com before I had ever heard of search engine optimization. But I always tried to make sure my content was fresh and interesting, and I linked to other blogs of writers who were popular, the ones I considered mentors. When I moved to my own server, I discovered that I had built myself a page rank on the old blog of PR4 in 6 months, and I hadn’t even been trying.
Once I had my own server, I started building links by doing sponsored reviews. I was upset upon learning, once I found out how important page rank was, that I had to start all over from scratch. But within 3 months my new blog became a PR4 blog.
